Designer Forum
The Designer Forum has been set up within EMTEX to provide a variety of business & design support.

Emtex projects are created to help companies develop their businesses, enter new markets, and adopt new technologies and practices. Across all Emtex divisions we aim to provide assistance in the areas that are needed, and help East Midland based companies with the most appropriate support that encourages business improvement.

Asset based Loans are available to new and existing businesses.

Businesses looking to make a capital asset purchase/investment that is new, diverse or innovative could access a loan towards these activities. Contact kelly@emtex.org.uk prior to placing any orders.

EMTEX, as the lead body for Materials in the East Midlands, has secured a new recycling of materials project. This project is being part financed by the European Regional Development Fund [ERDF] through emda’s 2007-13 ERDF Competitiveness Programme.

EMTEX will run and deliver this exciting new 3 year project, which also has an element of grant funding support to SMEs.

EMMAT [EAST MIDLAND MATERIALS SECTOR] will be the brand under which the project is promoted.

The project is designed to support small to medium size companies within the East Midlands to reduce landfill and recover materials which are often discarded or not fully reclaimed.

It will support research and will engage with other specialists and organisations that the small companies will not normally connect with.

Free consultations and information will help any business to reduce waste and improve recovery.

The project aims to be a catalyst providing a network and provides technical assistance in improving the business performance and brokering solutions.

Specific focus on Food, Construction, Transport and Medical Sectors, along with Plastics, Metals, Technical Textiles, Composites and other groups where a solution is required.

For more information, or for any partners or organisations wishing to engage in/be part of the project, please contact EMTEX Ltd, 0115 9115339 or enquiries@emtex.org.uk
