The IT4ALL project provided free IT training to employees of smes located within the Objective 2 area for the period April 2004 to December 2006.
The project was designed to support junior to senior Management/Supervisors to embed the use of technology and its advanced application level. Delivering one to one, on site and modular training in specialist areas across a broad spectrum of IT, including: database and web design, development and maintenance; CAD; production software, including costing/budget systems; use of digital media at higher end (including Photoshop - image manipulation); and support e-commerce - electronic communications to maximise business improvement.
All required outputs were met; final statistics are shown on the table below:

This project was well received by our member companies, but we have been unable to source further funding to provide this type of training for free across the Objective 2 area. However, we have successfully secured funding for any type of accredited and non accredited training for all sme sectors located within the Leicester Objective 2 wards only [see LCBN project tab].
