With the Designer Forum’s unique set-up & industry network – we offer a fast & efficient service that allows you to choose the service that best suits your needs... from an entry-level online advertisement & e-mailshot package through to a full search & selection offer.

Also for graduates & designers looking for their first (or next role) once you register with us, we aim to provide you with regular updates on available vacancies plus advice on CV, portfolio, & career management for FREE. We will also let you know of what else is happening within the Designer Forum & any other of our activities you may want to access.

FOR EMPLOYERS:

Available at 3 levels our Recruitment service allows a great deal of flexibility to suit your needs, especially with graduate positions where you may not need that full search & selection package.

Option 1:

Consisting of
■ Advertisement on the Designer Forum Website (4 weeks)
■ Email to database (currently over 4,000 relevant contacts)
■ Posted on the Designer Forum notice board (in-house)
■ Information distributed at recruitment events

Prices:
Designer Forum / EMTEX Member:
Only £150 + VAT per advert
Recruitment Agencies & Non-members
Only £350 + VAT per advert

Option 2:

Entry-level Search & Selection Package
Consisting of Advertising package (as specified above) Plus

■ Database search
■ Client / candidate match
■ Portfolio Samples (Where relevant we will arrange for all CVs to be accompanied by examples from their portfolios)
■ Telephone interview
■ Full specification / pack on each individual applicant
■ Guarantee of 5 CV’s for each role (3 for senior positions)

Prices:
Designer Forum / EMTEX Member:
Only £350 + VAT per position for graduates / £550
+ VAT for all other positions
Recruitment Agencies & Non Members:
Only £750 + VAT per position for graduates /
£1,000 for all other positions

Option 3:
 
Consisting of Advertising & Entry-level Search & Selection package (as specified above) Plus…

■ Face-to-Face interviews
■ Reference checking
■ Client premises visits
■ Full placement programme, offer letters etc
■ After sales service

Prices:
£0 - £15,000 10% of annual salary
£15,001 - £25,000 12.5% of annual salary
£25,001 + 15% of annual salary

Please note: We charge an initial £350 + VAT
(payable in advance – however if a candidate is successfully placed this will be deducted from the fees outlined above)

Registration is completely FREE, plus you will be invited to attend our specialist CV & Career Management seminar (also free of charge). We currently recruit for Designers, Buyers, Merchandisers, Allocators & Technical Staff across all sectors of the industry, predominately in the UK although we do occasionally receive overseas positions.

TO REGISTER:

To register with our recruitment service please email your CV to recruitment@design-online.net stating your ideal position, salary expectation & geographical area you would like to work in.

Once this initial e-mail is received, a member of the Designer Forum team will be in contact with 72 hours to give you an initial telephone interview to ensure we have all your details correct & we understand the roles you are looking for. Once fully registered you will be added to our recruitment register and if a suitable position arises we be in contact via e-mail (so make sure you check regularly your inbox regularly).
You will also be entitled to register on our FREE CV & Career Management Seminar.
