Changes to VAT flat rate scheme the second VAT test requiring a business to check that its total income is less than £187,500 will be removed altogether leaving only the first test – ie that a business’s taxable income must be less than £150,000. The leaving test – ie the turnover at which a business must leave the flat rate scheme will increase to £225,000.

It has come to our attention that a company from Asia is approaching companies by email with the ruse that their domain name has been applied for by another company and unless they respond [& pay] they will lose their current registrations. They ask you to get in touch with them, but please do not respond they are only trying to get more money out of you.

We are starting a new course of Photoshop and Illustrator workshops. They are aimed at Freelancers and Students, and are cheaper than the bespoke training that we have given in the past (although the bespoke days are still available for more specialised training).
We have 6 dates planned in, with a possibility for more if needed.
April 20th 2009 – Photoshop Beginner Level.
April 21st 2009 – Illustrator Beginner Level.
May 11th 2009 – Photoshop Intermediate Level.
May 12th 2009 – Illustrator Intermediate Level.
June 8th 2009 – Photoshop Beginner Level.
June 9th 2009 – Illustrator Beginner Level.
Each will be held at our training partners offices in Leicestershire from 9.30 – 4.30 with lunch provided. There will be a maximum of 4 people per session.

Students - £225 +VAT
